Introducing Lea Ann Sanford – owner of P&L Business Services, a full service bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and consulting firm for small to mid-sized businesses.

Not only does she bring a Masters of Accountancy and over 25 years of accounting experience to the table, she also comes from a background of small business owners.

Her business acumen and heart for helping others from an early age helps make Lea Ann a responsive, reliable, and trustworthy partner to have in your corner.

She is known for doing everything from low level AP work to controller work and writing multi-million dollar budgets.

But what matters to her most? The people.

When she’s not busy training the team, she spends a lot of time outside kayaking or doing quite a bit of volunteer work.

With Lea Ann at the helm of your accounting efforts, you can rest assured that your business is in good hands. She is committed to helping you get your books in order by taking on as much or as little as you’d like.

Connor Peak – Staff Accountant

Say hello to Connor Peak, the charismatic wingman and Staff Accountant at P&L Business Services.

Before joining the team and pursuing a degree in Accounting, Connor spent 4 years serving in the US Naval Intelligence.

As you might imagine, his military training comes in handy behind the scenes at the office to make sure your books are done to shear perfection! And if he’s gone MIA, you might catch him out being the face of P&L at the next networking event.

Connor was born into a lineage of accountants and is becoming a master at helping small businesses conquer their company books with a tactical defense.

His favorite part of the job is getting to work with small businesses and helping them succeed.

In his free time, he indulges in his love for travel every chance he gets. During moments of rest, he can be found playing with Eva.

Jaime E. Martin – Office Manager

Jaime E. Martin is an accomplished professional with over 10 years of experience in administrative roles. Known for her strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Jaime has consistently supported executives and teams in various industries.

She holds an associate degree in management from Roane State Community College, which has equipped her with a solid foundation in business principles and effective communication. With a passion for efficiency and a proactive approach to problem-solving, Jaime strives to streamline operations and contribute to the success of P & L Business Services.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their four dogs. There is nothing better than snuggling with the dogs after a busy day at the office. Living and working in Oak Ridge is something that makes her very happy, after all she has her four fur babies to get home to everyday!

Linda Patton – Credentialing Specialist

Linda Patton is our Credentialing Specialist. This role entails clinician support in maintaining licensure and certifications, assisting providers with achieving and maintaining healthcare facility privileges and requirements, along with other administrative tasks. With over 30 years of medical office experience, she has knowledge in many clerical roles.

Linda is the point of contact for her providers’ hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. Her friendly and caring attitude helps maintain these professional relationships. She is conscientious and her attention to detail and organizational skills are a necessity for credentialing.

In her spare time, Linda enjoys cooking and hosting family and friends. It’s no surprise Thanksgiving is her favorite holiday. She believes in serving others and keeping her family close. Born and raised in North Knoxville, Linda loves being outdoors and visiting the Smoky Mountains. A few weeks a year she can be found in Florida, chasing beautiful sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico with her husband and chihuahua.

Victoria Wyres – Staff Accountant

Meet Victoria Wyres, Staff Accountant at P&L Business Services. Victoria thrives on being an asset to the company and its clients. She enjoys working to learn and perfecting new skills as a team member. Victoria has experience and knowledge of working for small businesses. She takes pride in handling the accounting responsibilities, leaving others time to handle the day-to-day tasks it takes to run the business side efficiently.

When she is not at work, Victoria enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is a lover of all things old and loves to refurbish old furniture and quilts.

Abby Townsend – Accounting Generalist

Abby Townsend is our accounting generalist. She is a Roane State Community College graduate with an associate degree in business administration and holds experience conducting both administrative and accounting duties of business operations.

Abby is a disciplined team-player dedicated to helping others, no matter the task. She implements her business acumen not only at work, but in multiple aspects of her life. As an accounting generalist, she is eager to learn more each day from her team members and looks forward to executing her part in helping small businesses succeed.

When not in the office, Abby is more than likely at the gym working towards her fitness goals or searching local vintage shops for streetwear and old trinkets.

Cynthia Miles – Administrative Assistant

Meet our Administrative Assistant, Cynthia Miles. She is reliable and there when you need her to do any job or errand. She has just graduated from L & N Stem Academy and has a passion for helping others. She plays a pivotal role in maintaining operational efficiency and fostering a collaborative work environment. With a keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, Cynthia ensures that daily tasks are executed seamlessly, allowing the team to focus on their core objectives.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Cynthia channels her creativity into the art of jewelry making, a hobby that allows her to explore new forms of expression and craftsmanship. Committed to work-life balance, she finds fulfillment in spending quality time with her family and cultivating meaningful connections with friends.

Savannah Moore, Administrative Assistant

Savannah Moore is another one of our Administrative Assistants. She just graduated from Powell High School and loves to be a helping hand. If there’s an errand you need done, Savannah is who you ask for. Her daily goal in the work environment is to ensure that the rest of her team are not swamped with other big or small extra tasks and allow them to focus and efficiently continue their work.

While away from work, she likes to spend time and make strong connections with her friends and family. She has a passion for doing nails and finds herself constantly doing her own, as well as her friends’ or anyone else who asks. She loves cooking and enjoys trying out new recipes to bake or cook. Baking sweets for her family or friends is her favorite thing to do. Savannah also has a strong love for animals and likes to be surrounded by them at any chance she gets. She is the happiest when around her two cats or dogs, or even the cute stray cat she saw walking along the street.

Savannah takes any opportunity she can to learn new things or ask questions to properly understand the task at hand. Her main goal each day is to make sure she can always help her team in any way needed as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the office. She takes pride in her commitment, and she is one hundred percent dedicated to her role in the work area. Savannah will ensure she is successful in being an aid to her team members as well as keeping the office presentable.

Amy Snyder – Accounting Generalist

Amy Snyder is one of our Accounting Generalists. She was born in Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State Behrend with a BS in Accounting. She moved to TN in 2001 and has loved living here ever since. Amy is excited to join the team at P&L Business Services.

In her free time, she loves relaxing on the lake and dedicating herself to various volunteer projects. Amy and her husband have two daughters, and together they are always seeking new adventures—whether it’s exploring a glacier in Alaska, swimming with sharks, or enjoying a peaceful hot air balloon ride.

Kyla Black – Accounting Generalist

Kyla was born and raised in Tennessee, Go Vols! She graduated from TTU in 2015 and has worked in the accounting world for the last several years. She strives to make a difference and believes helping small businesses grow is the perfect way to do that.

When Kyla isn’t at work, you can find her on the volleyball court with her husband Rock, at all the Ice Bears hockey games, or loving on her five fur babies.

Eva – Staff Dog

This is Eva – the youngest member of the P&L crew. Born in October 2022, she serves as the Head of Fun at P&L Business Services with a main job is to provide entertainment and affection to clients and staff.

Her social, friendly and gentle manner makes her a client favorite. She is one of the sweetest office pups you’ll ever meet.

If you step inside the office at P&L, she’ll labrador you. Just like her favorite show Paw Patrol, she believes “No job is too big and no pup is too small.”

After hours, you may find her taking on a new leash in life. She enjoys getting loved on by her family and friends and is known to eat, sleep, cuddle, and repeat.

At P&L Business Services, Eva is everyone’s best friend. The motto is bring your dog to work everyday!
